How It Works: A Step-by-Step Guide

  1. Upload Your Image: Click the upload area to select a JPG, PNG, or WEBP file from your computer. A preview of your original image will appear, displaying its current dimensions and file size.
  2. Set New Dimensions: Enter your desired new width or height in pixels. To prevent your image from looking stretched or squashed, keep the "Maintain aspect ratio" box checked. When you do, the other dimension will update automatically.
  3. Resize Your Image: Click the "Resize Image" button. A preview of your newly resized image will be generated below, showing its new dimensions and estimated file size.
  4. Download and Use: Once you're happy with the preview, click "Download Resized Image" to save the file to your device. The filename will be automatically prefixed with "resized_".

After resizing, you can further optimize your image by reducing its file size with our Image Compressor. If you need to find the perfect color palette from your original image, be sure to try our Color Picker tool!
